Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Seth Herbert (self-employed), trading as ssplugins, NIE X4638016C, Calle 4, Guadalmina Baja, 29670 Marbella, Málaga, Spain. Contact: support@getagentaisle.com.

This policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain’s Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD).

2. What we collect and why

We don’t use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we don’t sell personal data.

3. The free plugin and your store’s data

AgentAisle (free) runs entirely on your own website and sends no data to us or anyone else. It logs visits from known AI bots only, never human visitors, and stores IP addresses as a short one-way hash.

AgentAisle Pro also runs on your website. Data about your store, your customers and your orders stays in your own database. We can’t see it. Pro only contacts Freemius to check your licence and deliver updates (section 2). If you use AgentAisle on your store, you are the controller of your own customers’ data and should mention AI bot logging and referral tracking in your own privacy policy where relevant.

4. Who we share data with

• Freemius, Inc. (United States) sells Pro licences as our reseller. It processes payments, invoices, licences and updates. Freemius acts as an independent controller for payment and tax data; see its privacy policy.
• Payment providers used by Freemius, such as card processors and PayPal, process your payment details. We never see your full card details.
• Our web hosting and email providers store website and email data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Public authorities when the law requires it, for example tax authorities.

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, such as to Freemius in the United States, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep data

• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Support emails: up to 3 years after our last contact.
• Purchase and invoice records: as long as tax law requires, generally 6 years in Spain.
• Licence data: while your licence is active and for 3 years after it ends.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email support@getagentaisle.com; we’ll reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es) or the data protection authority in your country.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, keep our software up to date, limit access to personal data, and use providers with strong security practices. No system is completely secure, but we’ll tell you and the authorities about any serious breach as the law requires.

8. Children

Our products are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 14.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll change the date above, and tell customers by email about important changes.
